The St John Fisher's Library is a place where the students can access an up-to-date collection of fiction and non-fiction resources.

Our students also have access to the latest in technology resources within the library. The main aim of the library is to help foster in our students, a life long love of literacy and learning. It is a special place within the school that can be used for quiet study and reflection within our vibrant school community. Parents / carers of Marian students are encouraged to borrow from our parent section. Here we hold resources from ‘Toddler Taming' to ‘how to deal with your teenager'. Also, religious readings and general fiction material is available as well. For your children's convenience we now have our library catalogue online. TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love. This collection can be read online only and has non-fiction and fiction books. There are also many puzzles and games to be explored.

10 minutes a day is all it takes to make a difference to your child’s level of reading. This can then flow on to all aspects of school life. At Marian the encouragement of reading for all students is promoted continuously throughout their schooling. The list below is a selection of Australian books that we have here in the St John Fisher’s Library. These books can also be found in the local Citilibraries collection.
